The Commonwealth Hotel has been a landmark in Innisfail since the 1930's, surviving countless cyclones including the recent Cyclone Larry. (Large sections of the roof and interior of the building were damaged and rebuilt).
The Hotel is a traditional Queenslander-style pub, with a small, friendly team of staff, always ready to pour you a cold beer. The hotel also features pool tables, a jukebox, and plasma screens playing all the sports action
